What Creaks Beneath the Floorboards is a puzzle-solving marker-laying game where players must draw a specific salt circle to trap errant spirits before the clock strikes midnight. Each hour, players draw cards from a shared deck, taking actions that bring them closer to their summoning success. However, different spirits will each influence the board and action deck in unique ways, with their presence growing stronger and stronger as the witching hour approaches.
